Bosley joined Outer Banks Health in 2021 and primarily provides acute care physical therapy services at the hospital. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015 and has extensive experience caring for patients with complex needs.

Bosley is known for recognizing opportunities to improve patient care and taking the initiative to turn those opportunities into action. After seeing an increasing need for specialized wound care, she earned her Wound Treatment Associate certification and became a resource for colleagues across the organization. During Wound Care Week, she created an interactive wound care resource room and personally rounded with day and night shift staff to share resources, products and best practices. “Lauren consistently goes above and beyond for our patients and our team,” said Amy Montgomery, FACHE, executive director of operations at Outer Banks Health. “She leads by example and is always looking for ways to make a difference, whether she is caring for a patient, mentoring a colleague, educating staff or finding new ways to improve patient outcomes. Her commitment to learning and sharing that knowledge truly strengthens our entire team.”

A strong advocate for lifelong learning and professional development, Bosley serves as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students and provides education to staff across multiple departments. She also participates in patient safety initiatives, employee engagement activities and community outreach.
