Daria Russu, staff nurse II, joined the emergency department at Outer Banks Health in June 2023 as a new graduate nurse. Since then, she has demonstrated exceptional initiative and commitment to professional growth. She actively uses downtime to study for her Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) exam and actively seeks to expand her clinical knowledge. This pursuit of excellence is reflected in the safe, efficient, and compassionate care she delivers.
Russu exemplifies integrity, compassion, and a genuine passion for nursing. Her care for patients goes far beyond what is expected. It’s clear that for her, nursing is a calling. Her warmth and dedication are evident in every patient interaction and in the thoughtful way she supports her colleagues. Whether it’s through a reassuring presence or a willingness to help wherever needed, Russu consistently uplifts those around her.
