Cameron Hale, a staff nurse I in the emergency department, joined Outer Banks Health in June 2022. Since then, he has become an invaluable team member, known for his compassion toward both patients and colleagues. Always ready to help, Hale’s positive attitude and warm demeanor create a supportive atmosphere throughout the department.
One of the first to respond to patient call bells, Hale takes time to listen, answer questions and foster a caring and compassionate environment for patients and their families. Committed to improvement, he consistently seeks opportunities to enhance his clinical skills. His strong work ethic has earned high praise from peers.
“He is a great asset to the ER and one of the hardest-working nurses,” a team member said. Another added, “It’s been an honor to watch him grow into a professional, compassionate nurse in just two short years.”
