Ashley Taylor, Staff Nurse IV in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, joined Outer Banks Health in May, 2021. Since then, she has consistently displayed compassion, integrity, optimism, teamwork, and safety. She develops a caring relationship with each patient, paying special attention to both medical and emotional needs as they make progress after a significant medical event. Ashley exhibits openness and sincerity in her communication style with all patients, team members and our referral partners. She is dedicated in her role and shows confidence with her knowledge to take care of the patients. She evaluates each patient thoroughly, using appropriate clinical guidelines and best practices coupled with her cardiology nursing experience.

Ashley is a joy to work with, and she brings a warm smile to work every day. She shows patience, reliability, and accountability when working with patients alongside her team. Since joining the organization, she brings great patient-focused ideas to the table, provides much-needed support for her team members, and is open to change and recommendations from other team members. She is a vital piece of the puzzle to ensure all runs smoothly within the department.
