You’ve probably noticed that new signage for these practices has been installed. The visual connection to the hospital’s brand is intentional and underscores the strength of our partnerships. While every patient always has the choice of where to seek medical services, this new alignment creates a more robust system of healthcare that connects your physician, The Outer Banks Hospital, Vidant Health and Chesapeake Regional Healthcare. Even though the names of our physician practices have changed, patients will still see the same familiar faces and experience the same quality of care that they have come to expect. In fact, formation of the Outer Banks Medical Group will enhance quality of care and patient experience. All of our physician practices and Urgent Care Centers are on the same electronic medical record used at The Outer Banks Hospital. This means that our providers can easily and securely access information and communicate with their peers to plan your care. What’s more, all of this information and communication is also available to you through our patient portal MyChart.
