The Healing Power of Rehabilitation Therapy

The Outer Banks Hospital is rolling out a master facility plan that includes both interior and exterior improvements. One of our main goals for the interior construction is to improve your patient experience during registration. We are completely renovating our main lobby and registration to grow from three semiprivate registration bays to four private registration offices with doors. Our exterior renovations are more obvious. When you drive by the hospital, you will notice a new building going up in our north employee parking lot. This building is our new outpatient rehabilitation therapy facility, where we will house our physical, occupational, speech and balance therapy services.
