Louise Johnson, medical assistant at Outer Banks Health General Surgery, joined Outer Banks Health in February 2021. Each day, she arrives with a smile and a pep in her step! She takes great pride in her job and is extremely dependable. She is someone her team members trust wholeheartedly and rely on confidently.

Johnson takes the time to share her skills with others so they may broaden their own knowledge. Mindful of patient safety and always acting with integrity, she does the right thing and ensures that every task is complete. Johnson consistently goes above and beyond in her role, and recently she took on two clinical positions until the office was fully staffed.

“She has consistently shown me kindness, creating a positive and welcoming environment in our practice,” shared one team member. Another added, “There is no “I” in her vocabulary when it comes to teamwork!” Johnson is a shining example of our values, including integrity, compassion, accountability, and teamwork.
